I have paid the deposit for my illustrator (Lazulii Creates) to start on the cover for my Poetry and Short Story collection. The cover is going to be amazing. I sort of want to give details about it now, but I think a cover reveal will be a better idea.
The writing of the book is going well. I’m including some incantations such as calling the corners and elements, some work with the Angels that are closest to me in my magickal practice. The central theme of this book is a celebration of the Divine Feminine, so each poem and short story will primarily focus on the Universe, who I know as “Ma” or “Goddess!” She has a lot of different names in many religions, but I first met her as the “Starry-Eyed Goddess” from within Mercedes Lackey’s Valdemar novels. I was quite surprised to read about a divine being only to find that as I was reading about her, she was looking me over and deciding, “Oh, this one is mine.” 🙂
